What is a good workout plan for building muscle?
Particularly the arms and chest.
If you're just looking for arms and chest, I'll assume that you already have a workout for legs, back, and shoulders. For adding mass, shoot for between 6-8 rep per set. Chest: 1) Flat bench press 4 sets
2) Inclined dumbell press (inner and upper pecs) 4 sets
3) Declined dumbell flys (lower pecs) 4 sets
4) Dips 2 sets to failure
5) Pec deck flys 2 sets to failure
Arms:
1) Tricep pushdowns with rope attachment 4 sets
2) E-Z-bar curls 4 sets
3) Skull Crushers 4 sets
4) Concentration dumbell curls 3 sets
5) Close grip bench press 4 sets
6) Kickbacks 2 sets to failure
(triceps make up 2/3rds of the arm, so stay focused on tri's, not bi's)
