how can i Build Muscle Fast along with using supplements?

i've taken about 6 months off from the gym and regret every minute of it. so i went back to gnc and got my vitamins, creatine, and whey protein shake mixes. i heard these help with building muscle. when do i drink the creatine and protein shakes, before or after workouts? i want to gain at least 25lbs to the most of 50lbs of muscle. also, any other info will be great like what meals to eat and things like that. just a lil more info. i am 6'0" tall and weith between 130lbs and 135lbs
